I did it!!!
I passed my chemistry test!!!
First roll of c41 film developed in my kitchen sink, got Blix on my favourite sweater too… thankfully it washed out.
I do have a water mark, but I also know how to correct it now. Nobody does it perfectly the very first time, especially when I had a horrible time getting the water temp to stay at 102F! I used the unicolour c41 kit to develop these.
The water mark isn’t through the entire roll though and I am super pleased with these! Scanning is no quick and easy endeavour and I have a LOT to learn! Never in a million years when I started this project did I think that I would be processing my own film. Be prepared… to see beginners attempts of scanning, but you will be able to follow my progress!
