Wow. I really love these! Deep blacks, and that signature “bokeh swirl” on the cow. Definitely a Lubitel! I am going to have to try creating a mask for mine. Fantastic photography Matt!
Thanks Cetzel, yes the trick with shooting half frame on it is to work out the mid frame marks on the backing paper. It’s normally either the large circle or the small circle, or about there, but it varies on different backing paper types. So it’s good if you have some of the backing paper saved from a previous roll to measure the half way point. Once you do that it’s easy 🙂
thanks Cetzel, if you do it you just need to work out the half frame markings on the backing paper of the film you are using. If you have some old backing paper from that film you can easily measure half way between the numbers and see what it looks like, normally the large circle or the small circle. 🙂
