Frugal Film Project – Kevin Dillon – August

For August I shot McConnell’s Mill in western PA. And wouldn’t you know it, I managed to somehow screw it up?

No big deal I thought… I’ll just use the LightMeter app on my phone.

Well, that didn’t work out too well either, since a lot of my exposures were grossly overexposed, especially the ones where I used an ND10X filter for longer exposures.

On top of that, my bag was missing my Soligor 135mm f3.5. In its place was a crappy Tamron Adaptall (159A) 28-80mm f3.5-4.5 that didn’t seem to work with the Adaptall adapter that I had attached.

Needless to say, the shoot was a comedy of errors. I’d be hard pressed to pick anything that I really like, let alone 6 to post. At least I got something out of the roll. Hopefully I’ll have better luck with my September roll.

  1. Don’t beat yourself up, if you hadn’t said I don’t think people would have realised (I wouldn’t have) 😂

What do you think?
