Week Twenty Five – 52 Roll Film Photography Project

Road Trip!!!

My Daughter, Grandson and I loaded up our suitcases and threw them in the back of the pickup truck and off we went. Across the prairie, through the Rocky Mountains and all the way to the ocean!

Lightening storms have started forest fires in the mountains… so the air isn’t super clear. But even then it is still very beautiful. So what gear did I pack?

I kept things small and light. I packed the Nikon F80 with the 50mm 1.4D and the 24mm 2.8D and the trusty stylus epic. I can carry both in my purse easily. I don’t want to have to pack something heavy or an extra bag.

It proves to be a great travel kit, giving me exactly what I need in a small package. 35mm film is small and easy to load quickly, plus it is easier to get if I run out (I didn’t!)

Fuji Superia 200 is a perfect choice for the Rockies… the blues and greens! Sure wish the smoke would not been there… but it is what it is.

And finally… consistent scanning!!!

  1. You’re right, those blues and green really pop with Fuji Superia 200. How many miles did you put on your truck? 😉

    1. Roughly 2600km… just a little road trip Shaun.

What do you think?
