Frugal Film Project – Graham Binns

This is my January Frugal film roll but has swapped with February because I accidentally left the camera in my car when it was getting fixed in the garage so It has now become my February roll. This is actually a test shot taken with the Pentax K1000 because I’ve never used the camera before so it’s just a random test shot of my daughter Rosie sleeping but I love it. It’s HP5 shot at 400 and its a straight scan apart from a couple of big hair dust spots removed from the scan.

Rosie sleeping 1200I named the shot ‘Sweet dreams’

  1. Great composition. The leading lines from her name on the wall and the rail on her bunk bed are perfect!

  2. A great camera, I bought mine in 1979 and it still works…if one of these new mirrorless cameras is still going in 43 years….😂
